InterviewPrep.co.in is operated by Talent Networking, a sole-proprietorship registered in Hubli, Karnataka, India. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for subscriptions and mock-interview packs on the Service.
1. Our “try before you buy” promise
Every visitor can run a free demo interview from the homepage without entering any payment details. In addition, newly-registered accounts receive a 7-day evaluation window during which you can experience the core product end-to-end — upload your CV, run full mock interviews, generate feedback reports, and test the Presence / video analytics — before committing to a paid plan.
We designed this window specifically so you can fully understand what you are purchasing. We strongly recommend that you use this window to try the Service thoroughly before you subscribe or buy a mock-interview pack.
2. No refunds after payment
Because we give every user a free trial and a 7-day evaluation window to satisfy themselves that the Service meets their needs, all payments are final and non-refundable. By completing payment you confirm that:
- You have had the opportunity to evaluate the Service during the free pre-purchase window.
- You understand the nature and scope of what is being delivered (AI-generated mock interviews + feedback — indicative and advisory, not a guarantee of any hiring outcome).
- You are paying for access to a digital service that is provisioned to you immediately on successful payment.
We do not issue refunds for reasons including but not limited to: change of mind; dissatisfaction with AI scores or feedback; not using the Service after payment; partial use of a subscription or pack; failure to cancel a recurring subscription before its renewal date; or receiving a hiring outcome different from your expectation.
3. Recurring subscription cancellations
- You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you are not charged again after that.
- We do not issue pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of the current period.
- You retain access to all paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
4. Service failures on our side
If a paid interview or AI-scoring run fails because of a clear fault on our end (platform outage, our AI provider returning an error we cannot recover from within 24 hours, or a completed payment where the corresponding credit was not applied to your account), we will:
- Re-run the affected step at no additional charge, or
- Credit the failed interview back to your account so it does not count towards your monthly quota or pack balance, or
- At our sole discretion, extend your subscription by an equivalent number of days.
These service-failure remedies are provided as account credit or service extension only — they are not issued as cash refunds. This clause does not create any general right to a refund.
5. Duplicate or unauthorised charges
If your bank statement shows a duplicate charge for the same order, or a charge you did not authorise, email billing@interviewprep.co.in with the transaction ID within 30 days. We will investigate. If a verified duplicate or unauthorised charge is confirmed, we will refund only the duplicate / unauthorised amount via Cashfree to the original payment method within 7 business days. Bank settlement may take an additional 2–5 business days.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us at billing@interviewprep.co.in before initiating a chargeback through your bank or card network. Because you have had the benefit of a free evaluation window, chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may be contested with documentation of your usage, and the associated account may be suspended to prevent further charges.
7. Promotions, discounts, and gifted credits
Purchases made using promotional credits, referral credits, or time-limited discount codes are not refundable in cash under any circumstances.
8. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or other applicable Indian law. If any provision of this policy is held unenforceable under the law of your jurisdiction, the remainder continues in full force.
